Warped Supersymmetric Unification with Non-Unified Superparticle Spectrum

چکیده
We present a new supersymmetric extension of the standard model. The model is constructed in warped space, with a unified bulk symmetry broken by boundary conditions on both the Planck and TeV branes. In the supersymmetric limit, the massless spectrum contains exotic colored particles along with the particle content of the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM). Nevertheless, the model still reproduces the MSSM prediction for gauge coupling unification and does not suffer from a proton decay problem. The exotic states acquire masses from supersymmetry breaking, making the model completely viable, but there is still the possibility that these states will be detected at the LHC. The lightest of these states is most likely AXY 5 , the fifth component of the gauge field associated with the broken unified symmetry. Because supersymmetry is broken on the SU(5)-violating TeV brane, the gaugino masses generated at the TeV scale are completely independent of one another. We explore some of the unusual features that the superparticle spectrum might have as a consequence.

Lth 350 Dred, Universality and the Superparticle Spectrum *
Recent work on the use of dimensional reduction for the regularisation of non– supersymmetric theories is reviewed. It is then shown that there exists a class of theories for which a universal form of the soft supersymmetry breaking terms is invariant under renormalisation. It is argued that this universal form might be approached as an infra–red fixed point for the unified theory above the uni...
متن کاملSpectrum of TeV Particles in Warped Supersymmetric Grand Unification
In warped supersymmetric grand unification, XY gauge particles appear near the TeV scale along with Kaluza-Klein towers of the standard model gauge fields. In spite of this exotic low-energy physics, MSSM gauge coupling unification is preserved and proton decay is naturally suppressed. In this paper we study in detail the low-lying mass spectrum of superparticles and GUT particles in this theor...
متن کاملMatter Unification in Warped Supersymmetric SO ( 10 )
We construct models of warped unification with a bulk SO(10) gauge symmetry and boundary conditions that preserve the SU(4)C×SU(2)L×SU(2)R Pati-Salam gauge group (422). In the dual 4D description, these models are 422 gauge theories in which the apparent unification of gauge couplings in the minimal supersymmetric standard model is explained as a consequence of strong coupling in the ultraviole...
متن کاملOrigins and renormalization of the superparticle spectrum
The importance of Yukawa contributions to the renormalization of the spectrum in non-minimal supersymmetric models is illustrated in the cases of explicit lepton number violation (leading to the possibility of singly produced sneutrinos at LEP energies), an intermediate scale singlet neutrino and negative mass squared parameters (possibly modifying fine-tuning considerations), and a grand-unifi...
متن کاملA Warped Supersymmetric Standard Model
We study the breaking of supersymmetry in five-dimensional (5d) warped spaces, using the Randall-Sundrum model as a prototype. In particular, we present a supersymmetrybreaking mechanism which has a geometrical origin, and consists of imposing different boundary conditions between the fermions and bosons living in the 5d bulk. The scale of supersymmetry breaking is exponentially small due to th...
